Election Results are In!
Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne has retained his seat as Head of State in the snap election held on March 21. With only three weeks for campaign preparation, the opposition parties fell short leaving room for the Antigua Barbuda Labour Party to snatch up a majority of the seats - 15 out of the 17 seats in the House of Representatives. The ABLP with their slogan "Ready to Rebuild" aim to focus on investment into the country and strengthening sectors such as Healthcare and Telecommunications.

Antigua to benefit from cruise tourism
|
Antigua and Barbuda have been added to a preferred list of high-end tourist destinations by two of Europe's largest tourism companies. Starting in the 2018/2019 season, TUI Cruises has added Antigua back to it's 14-day Caribbean Cruise itinerary after a three-year absence. Also capitalizing on the broad array of exclusive sites and activities, FTI Touristik has also added Antigua to it's destination portfolio tremendously increasing the number of European visitors to the islands.
