Nomad Digital Residence Visa (NDR) - What you need to apply

We are seeing a growing number of U.S. inquiries for residential villas to purchase and rent. "It’s the first time the U.S. has gone through a period like this and it's not just the Covid-19 situation, It is the fear of what an extreme outcome on the left or right may look like after the presidential election."

Others are keen to escape with new-found working from home freedoms. "Digital nomad is not a new thing - it’s just that before now, we didn't really think about it." Antigua has offered a new 24-month "Welcome Stamp" designed to attract remote workers to the country and since its launch there has been a growing number of applications from the U.S., while increasing numbers of British and Canadian applications follow closely behind.

We've seen a growing trend, that some clients want something more than just a place to rent. Many want actual citizenship of the islands where they are staying. Antigua's Citizenship by Investment Programme (CIP) requires a person to make a significant economic contribution to the country. In exchange, and subject to stringent application procedures, including thorough background checks, the applicants and their families are granted citizenship.
